If JWs were to change their name what would they change it to?

(at the time with lower case w) isn't it about time now they changed name again?

hello people.. i'm tired and a bit sick at the moment but i can't let anyone think that this is going to go away.... i am able to tell you a few things in order to prevent any confusion in the minds of those who are thinking that nothing will come of this arc;that nothing will effect the wtbts in america and other places.. i have been there and given my testimony.

helen milroy and her assistants were there along with another group of people who are there to lend assistance if you crack up at any time during or after the hearing.

i did not crack up but can see how this happens.. security is tight and anonymity is sacred to them as they want to protect all who come forward.

the majority of members who tend to join this forum have been hurt possibly even traumatized sometimes to the point of wanting to end their lives.

upon joining the forum, new members are welcomed with open arms, welcome messages start pouring in, "likes" are freely given, a false sense of security is promoted where a member is free to speak his mind without having to worry about the wt gestapo.

again, similar to how potential converts are welcomed and "love bombed" upon entering a kh for the first time.

Everyone joining is an unknown and once they become an opinion expressed someone is always going to take an opposite opinion to task. I think its more a matter of you can't love everyone and everyone has an opinion. After all, it is the internet. Don't let it get you down T. in the discussion about race i adopted a position i am not entirely comfortable with.

i think there is a sense in which it is useful to distinguish categories of description that can be fruitfully defended (apples and bananas) and those that cannot (caucasian or other racial descriptions for example).

but there is a more fundamental sense in which i believe that everything is socially constructed, every single line you can think of.

i have been lurking on this site for 3 years and this is my fist post.

i would like to thank everyone for helping me wake up.

i was baptized at 24, married at 25, ms for 18 years mentally in for 24 years but started to wake up 3 years ago doing research to give public talks, and the actions of arrogant and narcissistic brothers and sisters did not help.

Sometime waking up to TTAT feels like realizing you are not in a communal shower but a gas chamber! The reality is that you are now outside the gas chamber and you now know YOUR LOVED ONES are still in it which has its own set of anxieties. Take a breath. Relax. I don't know how much of your letter is fiction, meaning all the symptoms, depression etc as part of the fade. Carry on and you will be fine. Many here have had to sail similarly treacherous waters.

Is the Pioneer School being eliminated?

i heard from the semi reliable source that the pioneer schools will go the way of the dodo bird next year.. i could see this happening.

it used to be that you went to the the pioneer school once.

then they allowed dubs to go every 5 years.

At Pioneer school I asked a question that helped me see how bogus preaching was. I asked, "If Jehovah is drawing people to the Truth, and ONLY honest hearted ones are drawn by his spirit touching their heart, what percentage of success is from our teaching ability?" In other words we can't convince anyone because Jehovah has to open their heart so what's the point of busting our ass here for two weeks? The CO/teacher said, "I shudder to think of that".

How do you tell your spouse you no longer believe in God?

so i was hoping to get some insight on this subject of telling your spouse that you no longer believe in god.

for two people who have been jehovahs witnesses for 20 years together, talking about this seems to be real hard for me.

i still pray with my wife before meals but that's about it.
